Sajith invited to India

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subramanian Jaishankar has extended an invitation to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa to visit India, the Opposition Leader's office said today.

The office said both Mr. Premadasa and the Indian Minister discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the long-standing historical ties between the two countries.

Mr. Premadasa also thanked the Indian government for its support for the establishment of the ‘Suva Sariya’ ambulance service.(Yohan Perera)
