Infant with Covid-19 succumbs to lung disease

A 46-day-old baby has died at the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital in Colombo, Hospital Director G. Wijesuriya said.

He said that the baby was infected with Covid-19 and was suffering from a lung infection since birth.

However, the Director said that the death was not directly caused by the effects of Covid-19 but because of complications of lung diseases.

The baby has been residing in Wellampitiya in Colombo and his body is to be cremated tomorrow, he said. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

The doctors are NOT Scientists, so they simply bluff the cause of deaths. This infant had Covid-19 and Lung infection, doctors don’t have a clue how the human body function in detail so to “Not to Appear Like A Fool” they just suggest the cause of death in any one of the possibilities. If this infant had been seen by another set of doctors they would say completely different reason for the death. And we call the doctors as “Experts”.
