While saying that he was impressed with the Government of Sri Lanka, British-born financier Nat Rothschild said that Sri Lanka is a true gem with a great future.

British-born financier and a member of Rothschild family, Nathaniel Rothschild said this during his recent visit to Sri Lanka.

“Just finished a trip to learn first hand about SL’s suitability as a manufacturing location for electronics. Came away highly impressed by govt. of @PresRajapaksa and its pandemic response as well as the businesses I met. Sri Lanka is a true gem with a great future,” Rothschild tweeted.

The 49-year old, who is popularly known as Nat, is the heir apparent to the centuries-old European banking dynasty and the only son of Jacob Rothschild, the 4th Baron Rothschild.

Nat, who is based in Switzerland, is the Executive Chairman and the largest shareholder of UK-listed Volex PLC, a global integrated manufacturing company.
