5 star or any star hotels are not raided because the police raid only under cover brothels running under names of hotels, motels, spas and massage parlors. If someone accuse police for not raiding high class brothels, there is a valid point.

As the Gypsies' song goes "five star hotel walata pannin neththe ei?"

Don't the Sri Lanka Police have anything better to do than arrest these people who are providing a service. No one is forced to go these places. So where is the crime? Its time our archaic laws are changed as in enlightened countries. These arrested committed no crime. The Police should forcus on thugs, robbers, cheats, bribe takers etc. Now those are crimes with victims.

It's time to legalise the oldest profession in the world. However the givers should have regular medical checks against STD by medical officers of Health . This is what you see in advanced countries such as New Zealand, Holland etc. Dr White

Legalese prostitution - it will have a positive impact on crimes and creating jobs. Sri Lankan society is matured now to accept human requirements.
