Five men, who killed a man in Maligakanda in 2001, were sentenced to death by Colombo High Court today.

High Court Judge Pathmini N Ranawaka convicted the suspects, Thiruchelvam Nicholas, Wadivel Ravindra, Dinesh Kumar, Chinna Thambi and Ravi on two counts over the murder of a man in Sangaraja Mawatha, Maligakanda on March 14, 2001. (Shehan Chamika Silva)

    Fifteen years wait for verdict. Is it not a case of justice DELAYED is Justice DENIED. A way has to be found to expedite Court cases and avoid litigants being fleeced by the Attorneys,.
