Concrete slab collapses in Negombo; one missing

One person had been reported missing following a concrete slab collapsed at Periyamulla, Negombo, the Police said.


However, two people were rescued from the debris and the injured were admitted to the Negombo Hospital.

    I'm sure this is also another illegal construction. why the UDA or CMC does not take proper action towards all these unauthorized construction? there are many houses in Colombo who do not even have a proper plan but have built several floors, what is the UDA and CMC officers doing about it? are they waiting till a building collapses to take action?
