The Police Department has decided to reorganise the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in order to enhance efficiency within the department, a senior police officer said.
Accordingly, 19 police officers attached to the CID including 10 OICs of the Investigation Units of the CID had already been transferred to normal duties.
This becomes the first time in the history that such number of officers were transferred at once.
