Body of disappeared youth camping at Narangala mountain recovered

The body of a 22-year old youth who disappeared while camping at the Narangala mountain in Badulla, was found during a search by the army and police this morning.

He was camping with seven of his friends last night when he disappeared at around 9.30 on Friday night.

A complaint was lodged with 119 soon after he disappeared.

The body was recovered on the slopes of the mountain. Police said the victim is a resident of Avissawella.
