The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) convention would be held in September with the participation of all senior party members, including those who called themselves as members of the “Joint Opposition”, Fisheries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said.

“At this convention discussions will be held mainly on the victory of the party in future elections and appropriate procedures to be followed in that direction,” the Minister said.

“All party members will be invited to the convention, disregarding the various differences and future activities of the party would be discussed in detail, the Minister said. (Dayaseeli Liyanage)
