A spill gate of Kukuleganga opened

One of the spill gates of Kukuleganga reservoir had been opened due to rising water levels after the catchment areas experienced a rainfall of more than 100 mm, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) said.

DMC Assistant Director Pradeep Kodippili said the Kalu Ganga and the Attanagalu Oya reached the spill levels at the Millakanda and Munamale areas.
