Elderly woman hacked to death

A 60 year-old woman was allegedly hacked to death by burglars who broken into a house at Unagasdeniya Junction on Attanagalla Road this afternoon, police said.

The woman’s husband also sustained injuries and was admitted to the Wathupitiwala Hospital.
