45 asylum seekers nabbed

A group of 45 asylum seekers were arrested by the Marawila police at Marawila this morning when attempting to sail to Australia on a multiday fishing trawler.

Police said that the arrested suspects were from Jaffna and Negombo.(JS and HP)

    I disagree. We should encourage them to go to Tamil Nadu where their relatives are. We should send an invitation to madam Jaya to come to the dock and roll out the red carpet for them. Tamil Nadu is just few Kilometres away from Jaffna!
