24 injured in bus accident

At least 24 passengers were injured after a bus travelling from Dammulla to Eheliyagoda was skidded off the road and veered into a waterway at Godamawita this morning, Police said.

They said when the accident occurred at least 30 passengers were in the bus and three children were also among the injured. Police said they were admitted to the Eheliyagoda and Kiriporuwa Hospitals.
