15 year old crashes into mother and child

A 10-year-old girl and her 47-year-old mother were killed on the pavement in Dematagoda along Baseline Road, when a car driven by a 15 year old boy crashed into them last night.

The victims had succumbed to their injuries when they were admitted to the National Hospital. Police said the driver has been arrested.

    Parents should be arrested for letting a minor drive a vehicle specially in the night. This is utter irresponsibility of the parents. Severe punishment should be given. Two lives lost in vain. Who can replace this loss for concerned family. Very tragic
