Listen numb-nut prick (Achchcaru), its obvious you have no idea what-so-ever in happenings of the current world.....street prostitution is illegal around the world so that's definitely a no go. But porn and brothels are legitimate businesses (religious views aside) in the developed world - they are required to follow proper health standards and are liable to pay tax just like any other business and contributes to the economy of the country.

These results, I am sure, do not reflect the reality, as far as Sri Lanka is concerned. There is no way over 14% of average SL males are involved in a rape. It may be that the sample does represent the average SL male (may be the survey was done inside a prison), the questions were formed to get a desired outcome or the definition of rape has been given a broader meaning (acts not involving penetration may have been termed rape).

it was not done in a prison. this is true reality. Not all men are rapists but a few are. You can read the methodology in the summary report.

This cannot be true. It means one in ten that post comments to this forum is a rapist. They have mixed up rape to infidelity.
CNN reports today that according to Indian statistics a woman is been raped every 22 minutes. Cannot imagine the%???

this report is a baseless BS report, in the fact that India isn't in it! 14% means 1 in every 7 men, if so, some people who have already commented here also are rapers according to this fake report.

Oh my God! The papers haven't yet picked up the dark secrets of this Paradise Island....
Good that the rapists admitted. It just shows that many rapes never get reported to the Police or get published in the media. Probably because unlike in the western countries, over here women would rather live with feelings of shame and anger then let others know what they have gone through.
It would be interesting to find out who commits this crime the most? Army deserters? school boys? jobless youth? etc., This country needs remedies for some very serious psychological issues.

Having sex with your wife when she doesn't want to, is also concidered as rape. So the figures can be true according to the definition
