12 policemen arrested over Trinco students killing

Twelve STF personnel including an ASP and a policeman were arrested by the CID over the killing of five students in Trincomalee in 2006.

The suspects, who were produced before the Trincomalee Magistrate, were ordered to be remanded till July 18.

    It took 6 long years to arrest these murderers. What were the authorities doing all this time? I know, they took ll this time to write the script and find the ideal actors to perform and maybe they also archived the script for a rainy day!!!
