Former Sri Lankan captain Sanath Jayasuriya is tipped to be appointed as the head of the national Cricket Selection Committee, which will be appointed on Monday.Speaking to Daily Mirror online sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that five members comprising two full time and three part time members will be on the panel.
“They will be appointed on Monday, and it will comprise two full time and three part time members” he said.(HF)

Reading all the 54 comments prior to me reflects one thought. He is a good cricketer no doubt but he is simply not suited for this role.
