Top gang nabbed

A leading gang of robbers, who operated in the Chilaw and Marawila areas and were responsible for more than 25 robberies, have been arrested.

The gang includes eight men and a woman, the police said adding that over one million rupees worth of cash was also recovered following the arrest.

The suspects also had in their possession a live hand grenade and 1660 miligrams of heroine. (Daily Mirror online)

These fellows will be out before the sunset. Parliament is a better place and you can catch big fish there.
