Boy kidnapped

A 19 year old boy studying at a popular Tamil school in Trincomalee was abducted while he was returning home after a tuition class, the police said.

The police said the boy identified as Gunarathnam Sharmilan, was returning home after a tuition class when he was abducted.

The boy’s uncle had lodged a complaint with the police saying the boy had been kidnapped in a van.

The police had recovered her bicycle at the exact spot where he was abducted.

The Trincomalee police are conducting further investigations.

So, the infamous White Van is still there. There will be many multi-coloured vans as well once the new Constitutional amendments are passed.
