A government official however said that the decision to lift the ban now remained with the government.
SLPPB Chairman Gamini Sumanasekera told Daily Mirror online that the Board only removed two scenes in the film without damaging the content of the film. “We have already given the green light to screen the film in Sri Lanka after editing two scenes,” he said.
Last week, the government said the screening of the film in Sri Lankan was suspended, claiming the film’s potentially damaging nature to racial harmony in the country.

I'm not a fan of watching Indian films, but I will watch this movie in support of freedom of expression

So please do not relate this to racial disharmony or anything like that.
