Rao to meet MR today

Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao arrived in Sri Lanka early this morning and is expected to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Indian High Commissioner Mr. Ashok K. Kantha today.

Rao is also expected to meet Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama on Monday morning before her departure back to India.  (GS)

Ms. Rao, now that you are there, concentrate on the purpose of your visit and do a good job. Don't return with false promises like other Secretaries and with empty hands.
