Minister Mervyn Silva said that as a cabinet minister he has more important matters to attend to rather than look into his son’s alleged involvement in an assault on an Army officer.

“If my son has assaulted somebody, the Police and the law enforcement authorities in the country will take relevant steps. I’m a cabinet Minister and I have more important matters to attend to than look into this,” he said
