SLPL: Ruhunu to bat first

Ruhunu Royals, led by Lasith Malinga won the toss and elected to bat first, in the first match of the inaugural Sri Lanka Premier League, against the Nagenahira Nagas.

The Nagas are captained by Sri Lanka vice-captain Angelo Mathews.

I am surprised to see empty stands for SLPL matches.Sri Lanka being a cricket loving country can provide better support to their own cricket league.The next T20 WC is in SL and I hope the interest for this tournament is much better.
