We are promoting our country as a paradise/a land like no other. The govt must impose policies and regulations to educate and protect the tourists who visit our country. Shame on us when this kind of tragedy blotches the name of our paradise isle.

Our deepest sympathies to the Russian national's family.
This tragedy raises some pertinent questions.
-Were beach users/tourists/hotel guests warned about the hazards, tide etc?
-If there were notifications were those in different languages?
-Were life guards present?
The local and Tourist Board authorities as well as the local hoteliers should be held accountable where any deficiencies occur regards the above Safety aspects.
Mere greed for the earnings that tourism generates would not suffice!!!
