Dayasiri won’t crossover: Karu

UNP MP Karu Jayasuriya said today he did not believe UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara will cross over to the Government.

He said rumours were being spread about Dayasiri crossing over but don’t believe in such wild rumours.

“Don’t believe in them it’s not wise to do so. Dayasiri is one who loves the party and is very dedicated to it. I do not believe he will do such a thing at this time. There can be certain issues that may cause dismay, but we have sorted these problems,” Mr. Jayasuriya said.

Mr. Jayasuriya told a news conference he was unhappy to see the crime rate increasing. He said the main reason for this was the removal of the 17th Amendment and the introduction of the 18th Amendment.

”State institutions have been politicised. The government has promoted henchmen. UPFA politicians are responsible for the increase in the crime rate. Some of them are even having parties for raping hundred women. These are things we have never heard before,” he said. (Nabeela Hussain & Nishan Casseem)

Dont forget that if Karu had not crossed over , today LTTE would have survived , It is better to say that UNP supported to defeat the tigers by sending some MP's to other side. Karu is not a politician who crossed other side to earn money.

He is the prime cause for what UNP today. Instead of getting few people off UDFA to form a govt, he crossed over and killed the party. He returned cos MR didn't give in to his wishes. Don't fall for white national dress and half closed eyes. Inside same devil just as all politicians.

It is a pity many do not know Dayasiri crossed over from the PA to the UNP. He was GL's private secretary when he was Minister of Justice & Constitutional Affairs in the 1994 Chandrika government. So what's the fuss?. He is only getting back home.

Hey! Don't forget that once upon a time Dayasiri was in the SLFP. He has the experience in crossing over. In 2001 he crossed over to UNP with his master Prof. GLP. Master left the student in the UNP and went back to UPFA. Now the student's turn to follow the master.

Who is Karu to make this noise when he himself has crossed over and had to be vooed back by Ranil giving him a deputy position in a platter agaist democratic norms. There was no contest and then he goes behind to stab the very guy who appointed him.

Ranil and few jokers around him are the ones causing biggest disaster to Sri Lanka. People in Sri Lanka will never vote Ranil as the leader of Sri Lanka and this is a fact understood even by school children. With Ranil as the leader of the UNP the UPFA govt has no challenge and corruption, wastage and nepotism are thriving. Dayasiri , Sajith or Karu will have no chance to lead the party as long as Ranil is there.
