Lord Buddha was the first person who preached Human rights and its importance to the mankind. Lord Buddha asked everybody to promote and protect Human Rights. I cannot understand why buddhist monks protest this resolution from the world body asking SL to refrain from HR violations and do credible investigation to find out any truth of the reports on HR violations during the final phase of the war against LTTE.

I think the word is hypocrites, sadly this is present in all religions. Also most of the people who are part of the protests don't know why they are actually doing it. They have been made to understand that the UN have a evil plan to take over Sri Lanka.

If you can, get a holy bible and read it. You will understand who preached first about the HR

The puppet show goes on with waste of productive hours and money, whilst the Rupee continues to slide against the Dollar. What a Miracle?
