It is high time the government made a determined effort to cut down on wasteful expenditure for shch Tamashas as Deyata Kirula which only help to prop up the egos of the politicians and their offsprings. This is definitely not the way a responsible government should behave in time of recession.

Conducting exhibitions is a professional actvity. In universities there are special courses on Event Management for this kind of exhibitions. The main objective of such exhibition should be the improvement of the infrastructure, awareness of other poeople regarding the city, which the exhibition is held.
In our exhibitions, we hardly improve infrastructure of those places. What we do is fix buildings temporarily. All are temporary work Nothing will remain after the exhibition.
This is just wasting public money. These exhibitions are useful, but should conduct in a professional manner.
