A Sri Lankan detainee at the Malas Ladies’ Prison committed suicide, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh said.

The victim named Indika Bandara was taken into custody regarding the death of another Sri Lankan.

The Embassy is awaiting a response from the family members to come forward and accept the body. Therefore the Ministry of external affairs seeks the help of the public to track down the family. The address of the deceased is no. 117 B, Makandana, Madapatha, Piliyandala. (SR)
