A suspect in the court remand cell was found dead this morning when his case was called. The 40 year old suspect was taken into custody for possessing eight grams of ganja and produced in court by the Akkaripttu police.
 
Police believe that he might have died of a heart attack. However, the body was referred to the Akkaripattu Base Hospital for the postmortem examination.(S.Maran)
