Mahinda off to Russia tomorrow

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will undertake a working visit to the Russian Federation from 6-9 February 2010, the Foreign Ministry said. During the visit President Mahinda Rajapaksa will meet Dmitry Medvedev, President of the Russian Federation on the 8th of February (Monday).

I totally agree with Tikshana ... During the last stages of the war, Sergey Lavrov (Russian FM) visited Sri Lanka and offered support, at a stage when Western governments were putting pressure on the GOSL to stop. Now, MR is only paying back this courtesy!
