Indeed, "the beginning of the end" of suppressing our democratic rights! The crowds were neither brought nor lured there ...

Whose Democratic rights ? Come on Saradiel just accept the people's verdict. Of course stil UNP can flex thier muscle in Colombo areas where thay had considerable gains but it does not represent the opinion of the majority. Anyway, let the vanquished vent thier anger as a way of repairing the dented egos. Poor guys.

If the govt didnt get the votes they claim to have got..the masses would move to topple it. Iran, Phillipines are the examples.

Without pulling innocent people into trouble, if the government has rigged the election, go to the courts. Don't harrass people on the road.

Roads were blocked because people took to the streets; not to create chaos! If people cannot speak through the ballot in free and fair elections, we have to protest the abolition of democracy in our country & peacfully demonstrate to have it restored.

Street dogs are barking.

Indeed, oppositions have no other way to keep their innocent supporters hopes alive.

Janaka Perera, Ranjan Ramanayake, Rossi Fernanado & SF...

Now they have got nothing else....

Unless the Opposition comes to reality and address the issues that cost them the Election they will have to continue road blocks, tooting horns in protest & continue to languish in the opposition and become clowns of Lanka.
