Two grenades exploded at two separate locations in Vavuniya a short while ago but did not cause any damage or casualties. The Vavuniya police said that men riding on motorbikes lobbed the grenades near a lake and bunker before fleeing the area.

The Vavuniya police is investigating the incident.
