Other than J M Perera & Dr. Harsha De Silva... Can the others stand up to the Govt. MP's? Seems the UNP has returned the favour to the rest..! :)

Couldn't RW & Co. find a place for Vajira Abeywardena? when will this man ever learn to keep the UNP hardliners in the party? what purpose would it serve to appoint SLMC members through the UNP list, am positive no one would have even voted for Rauf, leave alone the rest.

Dear Mr Ranil,
We highly appreciate that you stand against pressure from Manon Ganeshan and did your best by selecting good team. However, Harsha de silva is dead lost. He is a poor economist with crazy ideas and not understanding ground reality in Sri Lanka. Rukman Senanayake would have been a good choice.

We are glad that there are no fools this time in UNP list. Now UNP is a clear party with young blood. It is time to think of a new strategic leader who can bring voters to the polling booths before U think of a UNP government.

Great to have Eran Wickremaratne in parliament. Not only will we wont get any foul language or unruly behaviour from him , (the benchmark has been lowered in the last 30 yrs) but the Country can really make use of him.

Mano Ganesen should retire from politics since the people in the south have rejected you .Suggest that you go and look after Prabakarans mother or go back to petti kade business by selliing scrap iron.

All have misunderstood that defeated candidates are not in this list. But Ms Anoma Gamage is the wife of Mr Daya Gamage, whom contested in Ampara in UNP but lost.

So see his wife will be resigned and he will come to parliament, this is Dr Mervin Silva theory introduced by Madam Chandrika

RW has done the correct thing.Let Maano Ganeshan and Vajira A carry out their threats.Who do they think they are?Their inclusion in the list does not make the party any stronger nor can the party come out of the dumps for many moons.
