The temperature in Colombo today is the lowest in over 60 years. The temperature recorded today is 18.2 Celsius, which is the lowest recorded temperature in Colombo after 1951.
Six persons who allegedly abducted a 22 year old female were arrested today by the Angkumbura police. The police made the arrest after rescuing the young victim in the Manawila area in the Kandy District. The van they used for the abduction was also recovered.
