If they did they'll be in Jail or worse. SF was tough enough to survive his incarceration probably because of his Military background. Don't expect that from others. There is a lot descent among seniors MPs but if they go public they will be torn to pieces.

Great piece of writing. Indeed these people are real hypocrites. All of us remember what and what things that were uttered by this Chip whip of the Govt. party in the House against the General when he was inside the jail. We voters are fools.

our politicians are brainless idiots. the sickening acts they do every day to the country, to the citizens are enough proof. the two MPs who greet the SF are also in the same boat. they are not serving the country. they are helping them and their families. these are well known facts.
to change this people need to change the way the officials who get elected and also change the law that will give these fools unlimited power and resources. with a parliament crew of over 2000 (including all their support staff) are draining the public money and gains no return.
Think about it? how many innocent lives are claimed by the parliamentarian s' families, and their associates during this year and last year? where is the law? where is the police? where is media? least but not last what is the meaning of our country's political stand (Democratic Socialist
Republic of Sri Lanka)? (Wikipedia has the full profile of SL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sri_Lanka)

Sarath Fonseka seems to be on the right track. He has to give up all army attitude and enter in interacting with politicians with cordiality and win the heart of the people. In his earlier time of politics he may have been fallen pray to some cunning politicians and parties. If he realize this and build up his own identity to disseminate his policies he can be a successful man
in the political arena.
