Having fun at the expense of the poor public who are burdened with an ever increasing cost of living. It is high time these politicians get their priorities right.

Sports have nothing to do with the cost of living. Why is everyone bringing this onto this blog. Usually sporting events are sponsored by business establishments. So no tax payer dollars are directly involved. Are you saying that all sports should be banned in Sri Lanka? Every nation takes pride in their sportsman/ women, so should we in Sri Lanka. Do not try to be" spoil sports".
