Pictures show Buddhist monks and group of people protesting against the construction of a mosque and a Hindu temple in Dambulla. Ven. Inamaluwe Sri Sumangala Thera of Rangiri Dambulu Raja Maha Viharaya said that the construction area was inside the Buddhist sacred zone and that erecting houses of worship for other religions there, was illegal. If an incident like this happened in Northern part definitely a few security officers or police brought the situation under controlled by any type of force! Here in the pictures there are more officers than protesters!!

For any person to follow Buddhism he should first have the desire to follow the Four Noble Truths and the Eight Fold Path. The Third great Noble Truth says that desire should be removed. Once you remove desire, how can we follow the Fourth Noble truth i.e. follow the Eight Fold Path unless we have a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. In short desire can only be removed by having a desire to follow the Eight Fold Path. If you do not follow the Eight Fold Path, desire cannot be removed. It is self-contradicting as well as self-defeating to say that desire will only be removed by continuously having a desire.
In this photograph did any one of you know what is Buddhism and if you all will not behave in this manner. Even the Mahanayaka’s who are appearing in the pic are just with uniform.

How would Muslims behave if we tried to build a Temple in one of their lands? It will create the next war in Sri Lanka! Higher ups should intervene and prevent this kind of corruption taking place. Hope they will give the land back to where it belongs, to the rightful owners, the Buddhist Temple.
