China yesterday said it believes the Sri Lankan government and its people were capable of handling the current situation in the country, and upholding Sri Lanka's social stability and ethnic solidarity.

Commenting on the ongoing unrest situation in the Kandy area, Chinese Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Geng Shuang at the regular press conference also expressed hope that Sri Lanka would take concrete measures to protect the security of Chinese citizens in Sri Lanka.

“We have noted relevant reports. This belongs to Sri Lanka's internal affairs. China believes that the Sri Lankan government and its people are capable of handling the current situation, and upholding Sri Lanka's social stability and ethnic solidarity. We also hope that Sri Lanka will take concrete measures to protect the security of Chinese citizens in Sri Lanka,” Spokesperson said.

I hardly doubt that. Most of the Chinese are atheists. They are too mechanical, work like robots. We should be happy have better genes in the country.

Does any bank in Sri Lanka lend money to anyone without security? No. Similarly anyone who lends money to Sri Lanka will except some sort of security. Sri Lanka is a banana republic. Now it needs to borrow to pay its past debits plus without any proper economic system, a proper development plan,increasing expenses,corruption and racial violence Sri Lanka will need to borrow more.Lenders know that Sri Lanka wont be able to pay but still they lend. Because in the end Sri Lanka will have to sell its assets to these lenders to settle their loans. No one is our friend. We should be our own friends. Get together and build our country and get out from borrowing habit.Singapore did it. Bolivia has done it.

Jmmysm - In a country where racism is the best business, all the reality you said will not digest. Singapore Bolivia have humans with basic general knowledge but we have a population who are 95% literate but actually pure buffaloes.
