SF expresses regret to President

Sustainable Development, Wildlife and Regional Development Minister Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka had reportedly expressed his regret to President Maithripala Sirisena over the critical comments the minister made against the President recently.

It was reported that the Minister, along with several other ministers, had gone separately and met the President once the Cabinet meeting was concluded this morning.

Speaking to the Media after he assumed duties in the new ministry on May 3, the minister made some critical comments against President Sirisena.

He again made several comments against the President while speaking at the May Day Rally of the United National Party on Sunday. (Ajantha Kumara Agalakada)

BANDO - It was SF who came forward and told the public that he (SF ) needs 2 and a half years to end the war and will not leave it to the next Army commander . GOTA ran away to the USA where he is a citizen even now . So who is the hero BANDO !

My honest opinion is that by joining politics, Sarath Fonseka destroyed his image. He has no-one but himself to blame for it. It is a classic example of "self-destruction".

This ungrateful man always follows the same procedure. He went against his boss Army Commander Gen Shantha Kottegoda when this man was appointed the Commander by demanding the official residence be given to him immediately when Kottegoda was pleading for two more months since his daughters wedding was taking place at his official residence. Then he was so ungratefuly acted against MR. However this man was in the JUMPER for many months until his wife pleaded with MR for his release. Now he has gone against Maithree. A man who has failed to obtain 3000 votes was given a ministerial post and the title Field Marshal. After all he is demanding what the ministerial subject he is dreaming to have . What a insane man he is . He is acting as the whole country is worshipping him

Sirisena is a A grade fraud, rules for normal people but no rules for his family . Smooth talker and definitely can’t put his big talk to action so, who wants him anymore. Law and order on the roads have gone to the devils and each man to himself. Policemen on duty are on there mobiles talking and laughing ... what a circus.. thanks to Sirisena for the breakdown in the country
