The report completed by the Presidential Committee on SAITM was handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday as per the schedule, Committee Head, Deputy Minister Dr. Harsha De Silva said today.
Thereby, he said, the allegations made by the GMOA that the Committee had failed to submit the report on Monday were false.
“There is no truth in the GMOA’s claim. We, the entire committee, met the President and submitted the report on Monday. We also had lengthy discussions with the President’s Secretary on the matter,” he said.
The deputy minister said the President would study the report before making his stance. (Lahiru Pothmulla)

What ever the committee recommends GMOA and SLMC is sure to oppose it. These are no more professional organizations but stooges of JO. Do not waste time discussing with them.

Sri Lanka needs at least another 20000 doctors to achieve the professional level of medical service. These people are playing a game of Thrones. They wanted to secure their CAST by blocking other CAST people entering their Pride. This is a poor mentality and a mental disorder that all Sri Lankan educated crowd has. Even in other professions, this situation prevails at heights of possibilities. Somebody must take a strong position against these culprits. Government is awaiting people to come up and solve this? Then why people have elected a President and a government to take care of them?
