Of course he gets bail, I wonder if i did the same things as Ramith would I get bail? What a joke!

    BuffaloaCitizen Tuesday, 13 March 2018 12:33 PM

It is a miracle how his driving license still remains not cancelled despite having earlier convictions. Which god does he pray?

    Saman Tuesday, 13 March 2018 12:10 PM

He is fulfilling the requirements to be a politician (in Sri Lanka ) and getting used to bail out situations. Very soon he will get his ticket to compete in Kandy District.

    BuffaloaCitizen Tuesday, 13 March 2018 12:36 PM

Good job Magistrate, despite this suspect having repeated offences of alcohol related accidents you have given bail with a basic surety amount. Keep it up, you need to keep the standard of our judiciary going.

Whoever he is, whatever he does, we will be the one selecting him to parliment later right?

    Harini Tuesday, 13 March 2018 12:59 PM

This is not an isolated incident. It is a culture instigated by our leadership over the last 25 years where might and money is the way to get ahead in life. If someone disses you, use force to either shut them up or run them over. Government sets the precedence. Social media clamp down is one such example of abusing authority to silence dissent. Great going! Our nation is on a one way journey to hell! Impunity reigns right from the highest point to the lowest.

    smith Tuesday, 13 March 2018 03:22 PM

totally irrelevant comment, has no relation to the incident what so ever, this chap is totally out of control. this is not his first either
