Fierce competition between the president and the PM, who will cover most countries while in power? While president covers Asia the PM goes for the West! Bonn-voyage!

In any other country the President should be in his country always unless it is very important and vital for him to be out of the country and that too it should benefit the country. How many times our President has been out of the country And what benefits he has gained to us and our country Sometimes the President and the Premiere are out at the same time. From the time of JR it was the hobby of the PM to travel. Now the same bug had bitten our President. It is the public money. Today we the citizens of this country are in bad shape due to the fact of unbearable cost of living. Corruption is at its core. Mahendran is safeguarded by the UNPers and the President is silent. What happened to his sons inquiry Now he says the ones who won the war against the terrorists should be safeguarded and the elephants taken to custody from temples should be returned My personal belief is this President is bad and an omen to Sri Lanka so are the many a parliamentarian A failed nation and a sad country via DM Android App

Nice comments. Where were all these voices when the previous President traveled with a pack of 100 plus people who were taken for absolutely no reason whatsoever, but who just enjoyed the benefits provided. Some in the pack could not even fill in their embarkation form and could not speak the English language properly but was just taken for a joy ride by the previous regime. I am not for wasting public funds because I am a tax payer too, but the fact is that now the world has recognized us and with the overseas visits of the President and PM, we are getting somewhere.
