Former Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene in an exclusive interview with Mirrorcricket.lk brushed aside allegations that managers of players influenced the team selection process.
Jayawardene is the first Sri Lankan cricketer to employ a manager to explore the commercial opportunities that came with his success in international cricket.

Everyone .. saints now. Mahela, there can not be a smoke without a fire. You all are considered legends and these allegations are dents in your illustrious careers. Looks like now the cricketers are acting/becoming like politicians and developing think skins, so that you all are immune to any prick. So sad to hear these stories about the idols we loved so much.....
