He is just another rouge trying to prevent the government from prosecuting him and his 40 thieves.

Everyday you guys are talking about handing over the No Confidence Motion but just dragging the story without handing it over. Local council people voted not to topple the government. Are you guys crazy where on earth are you politicians living. Last regime robbed in the night and the present robbed during day time and the future will rob in the morning. That's it with politics. Just keep blaming each other and pass the elected term of office. hats off to politics.

I agree with Fareed. This is the best opportunity to punish all those guilty.

Mr. Gammanpila, don't you think this is another failure of yours? There are a certain people, they are very good at talking nonsense but they are very poor in talking sense. We believe you are in that category. Can you name just one thing you have done for the people for the last three years?

This no-confidence motion is concocted out of desperation, by a frustrated lot of hardcore thieves, who have reasons to fear for their political survival and would not hesitate to drive the country to the gutter to achieve their self interested ends

Failure certain as a JO motion as it will be UNP vs JO and UNP want to defeat it. But as a common motion with even many UNPers wanting to remove Ranil it could be successful but call a secret ballot.

If the no confidence motion is lost, will those who sign the motion resign, as it will show that there is no confidence against those who signed as well.
