    Chari Tuesday, 27 November 2018 01:48 PM

Sad that lack of Democracy has crippled parliament today.Elections in January 2019 would have prevented all the unpleasant issues in the House.

    Mithun Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:51 PM

At present scenario, it is no way. Who ever elected, MS to be satisfied with the elected person as he thinks Country is like his Coconut Plantation as Sunday times quoted. This is very dangerous and i have seen no where in the World that a Government with no majority in Parliament.

    Appu Tuesday, 27 November 2018 01:49 PM

In the world, opposite party only boycott the parliament. But in Srilankan, the ruling government boycott the session. Miracle

    joshua Tuesday, 27 November 2018 01:57 PM

First time in the world a party calling it the "government" is boycotting Parliament session. You cannot come to the Parliament coz you don't have the numbers. Just try and pass on proposal? MR and his team gone like a wind thanks to the typoon MS. Bunch of jokers and can't believe we have Sri Lankans looking at MR and MS as their savior.

    Deva Tuesday, 27 November 2018 02:18 PM

That's correct, you had to do so from the very beginning

Hashantha perera Tuesday, 27 November 2018 02:24 PM

No Majority; finding excuses to not turn up, whenheaded by two people who don’t have integrity this is bound to happen.

    Ainsley Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:18 PM

EXCELLENT. Good riddance of bad rubbish. Let them boycott forever.

starting passing necessary laws Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:21 PM

Good - let the remaining parlimentarians pass laws stopping expenditure specially on the salaries of Ministers

    Vasa Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:23 PM

No majority.shameless group of politicians getting devalued by the day.we now have a HOLMAN Government.

    Samson Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:23 PM

What can an illegal govt without majority do in parliament. Do they get paid for not attending the house. I am sure the voters will note who they should not vote for at a future election.

    patriot Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:26 PM

If the government MPs boycott parliament each time, then what business PM and Ministers have? They should boycott their posts too.

    Labby Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:26 PM

Absolute cowards. Are these peoples' representatives?

    Moiez Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:48 PM

Purposely doing to drag until to election.

    Moiez Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:50 PM

Purposely dragging, all the MPs should be shot dead by suicide bombers.

    Cluless Tuesday, 27 November 2018 03:57 PM

    Banda Tuesday, 27 November 2018 04:03 PM

    Jaya Tuesday, 27 November 2018 04:56 PM

Leaders are in the parliament . Don't worry

    Ranj Tuesday, 27 November 2018 06:27 PM

They just take time till the court decision. They believe they can win the Parliament election after that. Mahinda never loose court decisions while in power.Anyway this bad example of playing with the constitution will harm the country in years to come.

    Sambo Tuesday, 27 November 2018 06:34 PM

They have no shame. They come to the parliament have their meals and go back. Have their wives kicked them out of the houses for not bringing enough money. Shame on you Ding Dongs is it for you type people that people should vote.

    Raven Tuesday, 27 November 2018 06:47 PM

Offer them some choice grass and they will come back with their tails between their legs!!!

    Dperera Tuesday, 27 November 2018 08:25 PM

Please boycott for ever. Save millions of Rupees that way.

    Transitional Tuesday, 27 November 2018 08:30 PM

Where on earth you find a govt. functioning outside the parliament as a transitional govt. Shameful

    Buddy Tuesday, 27 November 2018 08:59 PM
