‘Neduntharakei’, an express ferry service between Jaffna and Delft Island was inaugurated on Saturday (21). The project was funded by the  World Bank and the Australian government. Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Musthapha, Chief Minister of the Northern Province C.V. Vigneswaran and several politicians were present at the occasion.     Both these vessels were built in Sri Lanka by countries leading shipbuilding yard.
