She holds a Degree in Political Science from the prestigious Political Science Institute (Science Po) of the University of Paris and completed a Ph.D. Programme in Development Economics at the École Pratique des Hautes Études, University of Paris.

Because she bought useless locomotives in France that were not suitable for use in Sri Lanka from a company that has never built locomotives before.

Congratulations! It is an honour for her and Sri Lanka. It is unfortunate however that despite this recognition and the many other Honorary positions she holds as listed, CBK has not been able to contribute adequately to advance economic advancement and good governance in Sri Lanka. Her achievements as a two term Executive President of Sri Lanka is also debatable.

I wonder why the University of Paris has no record of her ever acheiving a degree in Political Science, or any other qulification. She is as big a crook as the rest of our esteemed politicians.
