Fresh seating arrangements will be in place in Parliament tomorrow to accommodate the 16 Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MPs who opted to sit in the Opposition after relinquishing their portfolios, Parliament Secretary General Dammika Dasanayake said yesterday.
He told Daily Mirror that the senior-most members of this group would be accommodated in the front row of the opposition benches.
Parliament will meet for the first time tomorrow after it was prorogued last month.
President Maithripala Sirisena will inaugurate the session and outline the government's policy for the remaining period of its term of office. (Kelum Bandara)

For the 16 who betrayed own coalition, allowing them to sit inside parliament is too good.

With most of MR's camp opposing them joining MR, the 16 consisting mostly political opportunists, are on their way to political wilderness and then, likely to oblivion.

Criticized MS during last election , praised MS and criticized MR during this government and enjoyed privileges, after PC election felt unsafe continuing and criticized RW to find a path to join MR. If you really think MR, RW or MS has not changed. It is these cunning politicians who change time to time for their own survival. So seat anywhere you want and we will make sure you will have no seat from next election.

Trash should be placed in garbage bins outside the parliament.

Hung Parliament is the best for Sri Lanka. Bigger the majority, they become power crazy lunatics and assume they are self appointed Kings and the Country is their personal Business. The previous Corrupt Regime is a good example.
