What better service talk - you are prepared to play with peoples lives to get your two cents of prvileges. Poor people do not have any privileges. You have enough - why not give up some of these super privileges like a car permit for the country. Hope the govt will say permit for cars 1600cc and below - not US$30,000.

We do not fight for Rajapaksa, we do not fight for Wickramasinghe, Yes support our duty free car permit. These are a good example of "so called patriots".

GMOA should not do politics. It looks like they are. They were quick to go on strike while the car permit issue was a proposal only and then they make comments on CEPA. Not good for the Hippocratic oath

These GMOA people can never be satisfied. They always want the pound of flesh.

What happened to the oath they took? Are they paying income tax on their private earnings Why make the poor people suffer
Janaka Thursday, 10 December 2015 10:35 PM
Okay. The government will give you the existing perks and privileges for another 20 years if the GMOA will agree to freeze their salaries for the same 20 years duration.

Why do you degrade your noble profession by going into trade union action although you are reasonably paid everything apart from your private practice.? You are not supposed to behave like average labourers
