In a response to Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka’s allegation that Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe had obtained bribes from Avant Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd., the minister said today he would sue Field Marshal Fonseka demanding Rs.500 million in damages for making a derogatory statement against him.

Minister Wijedasa , You should not make any attempts to frighten sri lankan people by this kind of threats.As you were elected by people of this country you should allow them to criticise you.You are a minister elected by people and you do not need millions of rupees as compensation. We can not approve such activity.If you want File a case against Field Marshal and courts will give him suitable punishment if proven guilty..
